We have impressive range of inspection and testing facilities having highly precise results which help us to produce best quality material of CRC and GP. Quality department provides solution based analysis; and it has a variety of destructive and non-destructive inspection & testing expertise. Our workforce is skilled for mechanical testing, chemical testing, spectroscopy and coating mass analysis which has a significant role to develop Indigenous prime quality product. Our product complies with various International standards namely JIS, ASTM, EN, DIN, ISO, BS and PS.

Raw Material

  • Chemical Composition
    Testing and verification of input material chemistry

Pickling

  • Acid Tank testing
    Maintain acid concentration of each acid tank to ensure proper cleaning of coil
  • Rinsing Tank testing
    Maintain chloride levels of each rinsing tank within the limits to ensure removal of acid
  • Residual Chloride testing
    Testing residual chloride from surface of coil to verify the effectiveness of rinsing process

Cold Rolling

  • Online Thickness Monitoring
    Thickness of sheet is analyzed by the sensors at regular intervals and subsequently controlled by automatic gauge control system. Statistical charts are plotted for each coil which are used to analyze the thickness history of the coil.
  • Emulsion testing
    Examination of cold rolling emulsion to analyze its performance in lubrication and heat transfer during cold rolling process
  • Residual Oil
    Residue of oil from sheet surface is analyzed to maintain it within the limits for further processing
  • Physical Inspection
    Visual inspection to analyze defects within the coil

BAF

  • Hardness / Mechanical Testing
    Testing and verification of finished product mechanical properties

Skinpass

  • Emulsion Tests
    Examination of skinpass emulsion to analyze its performance in lubrication and heat transfer during skinpass
    process

Splitting & Oiling

  • Final Inspection
    Whole coil is thoroughly checked for surface & edge defects, dimensional tolerances (i.e. thickness, width), shape tolerances (i.e. buckling, edge waviness, camber), oiling and coiling
  • Grading
    After careful consideration of observations in final inspection, the coil is graded according to defined criteria.
  • Oiling Value
    Sheet surface is analyzed for verification of oiling quantity as per customer requirement.

Cut to Length Sheets

  • Visual and Dimensional Inspection
    Sheets are thoroughly checked for surface & edge defects, dimensional tolerances (i.e. thickness, width, length), shape tolerances (i.e. buckling, edge waviness, camber, squareness), oiling and pelleting and subsequently graded.

Continuous Galvanizing

  • Zinc Pot Chemistry
    Molten Zinc Bath is analyzed to maintain the chemistry of Zinc layer
  • Alkali / Electrolytic Cleaning Solution Testing
    Electrolyte of each tank is tested to ensure proper cleaning of sheet
  • Passivation Solution Testing
    Testing of passivation bath solution to achieve best performance of galvanized sheet
  • Final Inspection / Grading
    Whole coil is thoroughly checked for surface & edge defects, dimensional tolerances (i.e. thickness, width), shape tolerances (i.e. buckling, edge waviness), oiling and coiling After careful consideration of observations, the coil is graded according to defined criteria.
  • Mechanical Testing
    Testing and verification of finished product mechanical properties
  • Fluting Test
    Sheet is tested to verify it is free from fluting defect
  • Online Monitoring of Furnace Parameters
